are a non-profit independent, non-partisan, policy research, training/capacity
building and advocacy organiation based in Ghana. We were established in the year 2017
and later registered with the Registrar General’s
Department as a think-tank with the aim of creating a framework that will spur
creative thinking, and discussing and disseminating reflections and proposals
on the definition and implementation of public policies within West African
sub-region and beyond. The Centre for Policy Development (CPD) is also
preoccupied with the advancement of society and government, based on the rule
of law; broadening the debate on public policy; engendering private sector led
economic growth; and strengthening the pillars of democracy.
At CPD, our mission is to advance democracy and promote good governance and sustainable development. We commit to generate knowledge and enhance the capacity of citizens to influence public policy choices in order to consolidate democracy and good governance in Ghana, the West African sub-region and beyond.

The Centre for Policy Development (CPD) in collaboration with the Ghana Export Promotion Authority (GEPA) and the Northern Regional Coordinating Council (NRCC), has launched the Northern Trade, Industry, and Investment Summit at Tamale on Tuesday 20th December, 2022.
